Paul Anderson
Project Manager
Panderson@RemusArchitecture.com

Having working in the Architectural industry for over 15 years, Paul has been an RA Project Manager / Office Manager for two years.

As a part of Remus Architecture, a Project Manager is an important position that is taken with respect and responsibility.  Initiating, developing, organizing and revising plans as per the client’s request are essential to creating a successful project.  During the preliminary and final design process, it is essential to research, verify, and to maintain IBC, ADA, and other required code standards and specifications throughout.  Through his experience on multiple projects at RA, he has played a large role in managing and collaborating with key team members, project schedules, and conflicts that arise during a given project.

Paul was able to gain a large portion of experience as a Computer Aided Designer at multiple architecture firms for over thirteen years.  To create an effective architectural set, the designer must assess the current building environment, as well as maintain communication with the client and project architect.  Understanding, organizing, and evaluating architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings during the review process is a major asset to have in facilitate a successful project.  While reviewing various drawings, it is essential to have the proper knowledge of IBC, ACI, ASTM, and other building codes.  With the vast knowledge that was gained over the last fifteen years, Paul has exceeded the expectations of a Project Manager at Remus Architecture.

With Paul previously serving as a Sergeant in the Marines for 8 years, he was able to develop intangible leadership and communication skills that are still used today.  Also, Paul is currently the Project Manager for the Teaneck Armory’s Latrines project for DMAVA.  With Paul’s familiarity of military procedures, leadership and communication skills, familiarity working with DMAVA, and office experience, RA is confident in him meeting and exceeding expectations throughout this project.

Having graduated from Drexel University, Jules has been an RA project manager for two years.

As a part of Remus Architecture, a project manager is an important position that is taken with respect and responsibility.  Initiating, developing, organizing and revising plans as per the client’s request are essential to creating a successful project.  During the preliminary and final design process, it is essential to research, verify, and to maintained IBC, ADA, and other required code standards and specifications throughout.  Through his experience on multiple projects at RA, he has played a large role in managing and collaborated with key team members, project schedules, and conflicts that arise during a given project.

While Remus Architecture works primarily in the design and construction administration phases, Jules was able to gain a large portion of experience as an Inspector at TRC Engineers for about five years.  Understanding and evaluating architectural, structural and shop drawings on a construction site during the construction process is a major asset to have in order to be a successful inspector.  While reviewing various drawings, it is essential to have the proper knowledge of IBC, ACI, ASTM, and other building codes.  Working at TRC gave Jules a well-rounded knowledge of what goes into the construction process and what details required to make a successful project a reality.

In Drexel’s Architectural Engineering program, Jules was able to see what elements and materials are required to create a cost-effective and energy efficient building.  It was at Drexel where Jules gained the respect and interest of the design process that is required a make a building fit perfectly into a given environment, which also led him to receiving a minor in Architecture as well.
